RATCH-Australia will upgrade the Siemens Energy SGT5-2000E gas turbine at Townsville Power Station to a Hybrid RGS with the aim of providing more system strength to the grid. This is the first hybrid RGS upgrade to be implemented into any Siemens Energy gas turbine in the world.
