Data protection

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

We hereby expressly prohibit the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.

Privacy policy for the use of Facebook plugins (Like button)

Plugins of the social network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California, 94025, USA) are integrated on our pages. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our site. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When you visit our pages, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the plugin. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php

If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.

Privacy policy for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Integration of the services of Vimeo

We have integrated Vimeo videos into our online offering, which are stored on http://www.Vimeo.com and can be played directly from our website. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo Inc. with headquarters in NYC, USA.

The Vimeo videos are all integrated in “extended data protection mode”, i.e. no data about you as a user is transferred to Vimeo if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will a connection to the Vimeo servers be established and the plugin displayed. This tells the Vimeo server which of our websites you have visited. If you are logged in to Vimeo as a member, Vimeo assigns this information to your personal user account. When you use the plugin, e.g. by clicking the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your Vimeo user account and other user accounts of the companies Vimeo, Inc. and Google Inc. before using our website and deleting the corresponding cookies of the companies.

Further information on data processing and information on data protection by Vimeo can be found at www.vimeo.com/privacy.

Integration of the services of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display interactive maps and to provide directions. Google Maps is a map service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. By using Google Maps, information about the use of this website, including your IP address and the (start) address entered as part of the route planner function, may be transmitted to Google in the USA. When you access a page on our website that contains Google Maps, your browser establishes a direct connection with Google’s servers. The map content is transmitted by Google directly to your browser, which integrates it into the website. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data collected by Google in this way. To the best of our knowledge, this is at least the following data

  • Date and time of the visit to the website in question,
  • Internet address or URL of the website accessed,
  • IP address,
  • (start) address entered as part of route planning.

We have no influence on the further processing and use of the data by Google and can therefore accept no responsibility for this.

If you do not want Google to collect, process or use data about you via our website, you can deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings. In this case, however, you will not be able to use the map display.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Google’s data protection information.

By using our website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google Maps Route Planner in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Transfer of data via our FTP server

To transfer text and video files (file servers) between us and our customers, we use the server service Serv-U from SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC., USA.

During transmission, the data is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols to prevent manipulation, data leakage or viewing of the files during transmission. Should SolarWinds experience a data leak in the extremely unlikely event due to technical reasons, Rabbitz Film cannot be held responsible. You can find out more about how the software works and the technical background via the following link: https://www.serv-u.com.
